Angelo Ronald Pro, 89, of Monessen, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at his home. He was born in Pittsburgh, on April 22, 1933, son of the late Giovan-ni and Mary DiBartolo Pro. Angelo was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, American Legion Post 28 and the former Mon Valley Association of Retired Steelworkers (MARS). He worked for American Chain and Cable, Page Division, Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s Allenport plant and Mon Valley Hospital in the dietary department. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the U.S. Air Force from 1951-53. Angelo is survived by his wife of 67 years, Olivia A. Perozzi Pro; his son, Lawrence (Aimee) Pro of Monessen; two grandchildren, Angela (Mark) Labozzetta and Eric (Cristal) Pro; three great-grandchildren, Leona, Hadlee and Jaxon; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Gregory Pro and David Pro; two brothers, John Pro and Richard Pro; and by a sister, Joanne Pro. Friends will be received at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave, Monessen, from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022. Funeral services will be held Friday Dec. 9, 2022, beginning with a 9:30 a.m. blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen, with Father Michael J. Crookston officiating. Entombment will follow in Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum, Monessen. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
