Yough looking to playoffs after move to 3A

Mike Gerdich is heading into his sixth season with the Yough girls basketball program and the coach knows the Cougars are due for a breakout season. The Cougars went 6-14 overall last winter and finished fifth in Section 3-AAAA with a 4-8 mark. Yough had several close games a year ago, as they averaged 35 points per game and only allowed 42.8 points per game.
