Mary Louise ‘Scooch’ Persico – Monessen
Mary Louise “Scooch” Persico, 76, of Monessen, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 22, 2022, in her home in Monessen. She was born in North Charleroi on Dec. 18, 1945, to Louis and Mary Garofalo Guerra. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. Scooch is survived by her husband, Dr. Thomas Persico; two daughters, Kelly (Aaron) Kunder of Perryopolis, Erin (Chase) Helon of Whispering Pines, N.C.; sister, Cindy Coccari of Monessen; and many other loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Beregi; and nephew, Shunny Beregi. Private funeral services were entrusted to ROBERT A.
