Sellew named to Mid-Mon Valley All Sports Hall of Fame selection committee

The Mid-Mon Valley All Sports Hall of Fame has welcomed a new member to its selection committee.
Mon Valley Independent Sports Editor Jeremy Sellew was recently appointed to the 13-person committee as a representative of the local media.
“I’m very humbled and honored to be a part of the selection committee,” Sellew said. “As the sports editor of the newspaper and being that I have 20 years of writing experience, there is going to be a new cycle of nominees that I will be able to give good insight and input on.
“Looking at who is on the committee, I’m excited to be a part of this group that brings so much local sports knowledge of a generation of players I’m not as familiar with as well.”
