Valley firefighters participate in unique training experience

The Donora Volunteer Fire Co. hosted a unique training for local first responders Saturday.
Charleroi Area Fire Chief Robert Whiten Jr. said the Donora VFC invited them to a man vs. machine training session. Carroll Township firefighters also attended.
Firefighters learned from trainers at PL Vulcan, a fire training concepts group that uses experienced firefighters from across the country to teach valuable lessons to fire responders to keep communities safe.
