Continuing the annual Scarves in the Park tradition, Corrina Withrow, joined by family and others in the community, left donated clothing in bins at Chess Park in Monongahela and wrapped scarves around trees to let people know.
Kim Velmer originally started Scarves in the Park, but Withrow took over a few years ago. Withrow receives donations and coordinates with the Monongahela community through Facebook. This year, they went to the park Saturday afternoon, in sunny 25 degree weather.
