Joan Greco Bartolotta, 89, of Monongahela, died on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at Arden Courts of Jefferson Hills. Joan was born in Monongahela on Nov. 3, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Rosella Bartholomei Greco. Following her graduation in 1951 from Monongahela High School, Joan began working at the former Daily Republican in Monongahela and the Post-Gazette as a typist until marrying her late husband, Aldo L. Bartolotta. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela. She loved playing in all of her card clubs with her friends, and loved a good game of Scrabble, but most of all she loved spending time and traveling with her family and grandchildren. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Toni Jo and Robert J. “Archie” Allridge of Charleroi; a brother, Joseph Greco Jr. and wife Judith of Palm Coast, Fla.; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Jamie) FitzGerald, Bart Allridge, Damon J (Laurie) Bartolotta, Dante A.W. Bartolotta and fiancé Sienna, Danielle M. (Matthew) Steingraber and Devin J. (Matthew) Wittman; two great-granddaughters, Claire and Charlotte FitzGerald; a daughter-in-law, Camera Bartolotta and husband Bill DeWeese of Monongahela; and her former daughter-in-law, Nancy Bartolotta of Charleroi. Preceding her in death was her husband, Aldo L. Bartolotta, who died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012; and a son, Bruce A. Bartolotta, who died Nov. 16, 2009. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, followed by a Mass of Christian burial beginning at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to either the Father Leger Fund, 700 W.
