Sale of EBMA may be legally contested

Tom DeRosa discussed the anticipated sale of Elizabeth Borough’s sewage treatment plant at Forward Township’s supervisors meeting Monday. The chairman supervisor was asked about the deal that would see Pennsylvania American Water Company purchase the sewage treatment plant in Elizabeth next year for $29 million. “I see in the paper that Elizabeth Borough’s sewage authority is being considered to be sold. How will that affect Forward Township?” asked resident Tom Headley. “Will Forward Township have any voice in (the sale)?”
