Peggi D. Prosser, 65, of Monessen, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Lois Pezzelle Prosser, she was born on July 5, 1957, in North Charleroi. A lifelong resident of Monessen, Peggi loved her family and was an avid Monday night bingo player. She is survived by her children, James Courtley and his fiancé Shannon Forsythe of Charleroi, Kim Courtley of Monessen, Michael McIvor of Monessen and Kristy Jackson of Monessen; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Lou B. (Karen) Prosser of San Diego, Calif., David B. (Connie) Prosser of Whitensville, Mass., Gary B. (Sue) Prosser of Allenport and Gordon C. (Joni) Prosser of Chardon, Ohio; grandchildren, Kiana, Kyla, Darius, Tra’Mayne, Alexus, Gregory, Jada, Tierra, Jazmin, Dellah, Stacey, Carter, Jolene, James, Mina, Krista and Jahnell; eight great-grandchildren; nephews, William Brown, Jamie Prosser, Scott Prosser II, David Prosser, Buddy Prosser, Joe Axton and Curtis Davis Jr.; a niece, Ashley Prosser; and her best friend, John Heinzelman. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristen Courtley in 2015; a brother, Scott Prosser in 2009; a sister, Denise Joyner; and a nephew, Eric Brown. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating.
