Monongahela to celebrate Emmy winners

For a small community, Monongahela has certainly been featured in quite a number of documentaries, thanks in large part to the talent of two Emmy-winning Ringgold graduates. The Monongahela Area Historical Society and the Wedding Cookie Table Community will celebrate their efforts with a free event at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.
