Joseph J. “Jo Jo” Kish, 68, of Port Vue, died Nov. 8, 2022, at AHN Jefferson Hospital. Born Feb. 19, 1954, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Helen Yaga Kish. Jo Jo was retired from Port Vue Plumbing Inc., where he was a plumber and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 66. Jo Jo attended Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Eugene Church of Liberty Borough. He was a classic car enthusiast and attended many NASCAR races up and down the East Coast. Jo Jo was also a sports fan. He especially enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Penguins. Jo Jo’s greatest love was hunting and fishing. He is survived by his siblings, James H. (Denise) Kish of Wheeling, W.Va., and David (Sharon) Kish of Port Vue; brother-in-law, Gregory Lombardo of Port Vue; nieces and nephews, Amber (Jacob) Bock, Ashlee Lombardo, Caitlyn (Michael) Mistick and Jamie (Kelsey) Kish; great-nieces and a great-nephew; dear friend, Debbie Kish; along with many extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Jo Jo was also preceded in death by his sister, Marcia Lombardo. Family and friends will be received at JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2022. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers and burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery of Port Vue.
