Jacqueline Donaldson – Stockdale

Jacqueline Donaldson, 94, of Stockdale, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, in her home, surrounded by her four loving daughters.  Over the last four years, she received excellent care, love and company from her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Bill, with whom she resided. A daughter of the late Elgie and Nell Savitsky McCrory, she was born in Elco on May 7, 1928. Catholic by faith, Jacqueline was a member of the former St. Joseph Parish in Roscoe until its closing. She enjoyed her euchre card club and her Friday night poker club. Jacqueline loved a good party and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by four daughters and sons in-law, Paula and Allan Rygelski of Stockdale, Chris and Mark Garrett of Roscoe, Pam and Bill Podany of Stockdale, and Becky and Pete Vaccaro of Speers; four grandchildren, Shelbey (Jeff) Rojik, Todd (Amy) Rygelski, Brittany (Mike) Higham and Nick (Paige Painter) Vaccaro; five great-grandchildren, Garrett and Andrew Rojik, Ally Rygelski and Quinn and Parker Higham; a brother and two sisters in-law, Donald and Berna McCrory and Dorothy McCrory, all of Roscoe; a brother in-law, Patrick Vadella of Elco; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cora Bane Vadella; a brother, Richard McCrory; and the father of her children, John Donaldson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A blessing will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Joe Uzar officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
