Local teams find out their WPIAL, PIAA playoff sites

The WPIAL announced playoff sites for the next round of the postseason, while local volleyball and soccer teams discovered where they’re heading for the first round of the state tournament. Starting with football, after receiving byes in the first round, Belle Vernon Area, Elizabeth Forward and Thomas Jefferson will each be at home Friday. The Leopards (7-2) face East Allegheny (8-3), the Warriors (9-1) have a rematch against Shady Side Academy (6-4) and the Jaguars (7-3) face off against Latrobe (7-4) for the second time.
