Demolition projects OK’d in McKeesport

McKeesport City Council has approved yet another demolition contract as part of the McKeesport Rising initiative. Like others this year, the contracts targets blighted properties in the city’s Cultural and Educational Sector. The demolition contract for the McKeesport Rising: Cultural and Educational Sector Enhancement Project approved last week was awarded to Minniefield Demolition Services of West Mifflin, the low bidder, for an amount not to exceed $171,370.
