Dana K. Baldwin Kegebein – Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Fayette City

Dana K. Baldwin Kegebein passed away at Brookdale, Orange Park, Fla., on July 30, 2022, with her family by her side. Born in Fayette City on Sept. 20, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Wellington and Amanda Belle Baldwin. A graduate of Charleroi High School, Class of 1951, Dana worked as an administrative assistant for several companies before retiring from the Wells Fargo auditing department in Jacksonville, Fla. Methodist by faith, she was an accomplished organist and played the organ at various churches throughout the Mon Valley before relocating to Jacksonville, Fla., in 1985. Dana loved the beach, reading (especially James Patterson), doing crossword puzzles and being with her family. Dana is survived by two daughters, Dana Rae Baker of Fayette City and Susan E. (Peter) Willis of Jacksonville, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Amanda (David) Engel, Shaun (Angela) Baker, Stephanie (Jesus) Baker-Espejo, Kelly (George) Erdel, James R. Stewart, Stephen P. Stewart, Ada Willis (Angel Rodriguez) and Elizabeth (Nathan) Bugbee; 12 great-grandchildren; Gabriella, Alexis and Shaun (SJ) Baker, Marco, Lily and Julian Espejo, Samuel, Grace and Thomas Erdel, James Willis, Morgan and Olive Bugbee; sister-in-law, June (Art) Jaquette; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Kegebein, in 2013; daughter, Barbara “Bobbi” Stewart in 2016; and brother, Wellington (Tinker) Baldwin Jr. in 1976. Private memorial services were held in both Jacksonville, Fla., and Fayette City. In Dana’s memory, the family suggests showing kindness to others every day.
