Carol Lynn Devers – Rostraver Township

Carol Lynn Devers, 69, of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, at Washington Hospital. She was born May 15, 1953, in New Eagle, the daughter of Dominick R. and Teresa Dorazio Pietroboni. Carol was a 1971 graduate of Monongahela High School and a member of the former St. Anthony’s Parish in Monongahela. Carol had a passion for wine making and owned and operated a winery along with her husband, Jerry, in Sonoma County, Calif. She was a member of the Enological Society of America. Carol and Jerry traveled extensively throughout North America and had resided in California and Oregon. She was an avid photographer and had a love for gardening. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gerald “Jerry” Devers; daughter, Crystal Pasula of Rochester, N.Y.; two brothers and two sisters, Gareth Pietroboni of La Jolla, Calif., twins, Mark Pietroboni of Greensburg and Lari Ann McIntosh of Monongahela, and Mary Donna Magdich of Charlotte, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol’s family plans to celebrate her life at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to FRYE FUNERAL HOME. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 60 E.
