George J. Marek – Belle Vernon

George J. Marek, 77, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Nov. 2, 2022. He was born in Pittsburgh on Aug. 14, 1945, son of the late George F. and Mildren Henchir Marek. George was a member of the IBEW No. 5. He enjoyed music and playing in his band. He also enjoyed farming his land, working on his house and riding his Harley Davidson. Survivors include his daughters, Georgette Lexie and Denise and husband David Heitzmann; four sons, Brian, Scott, Daniel and Ryan Marek; grandsons, Tom Evans Jr. and Tyler Marek; his life partner, Natalie Pezzelle; sisters, Kathleen I. Ambler and Diane M. Dolfi; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, the time of services.
