Robotics event challenges EF Middle School students

Elizabeth Forward Middle School supercharged its robotics program by holding a VEX IQ Robotics Competition. Sixth-grade students used new VEX IQ Generation 2.0 robots to build, program and learn team-building skills. Ten teams — each consisting of four or five students — competed in the middle school cafeteria. Students were able to choose their own role on the team as either a driver, a coder/builder, team captain or pit crew member.
