Mary Patricia ‘Pat’ Henry – Charleroi

Mary Patricia “Pat” Henry, 78, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, in the Upton’s Personal Care Home, Normalville, Pa. She was born Nov. 10, 1943, in Charleroi, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Rovnak Rendos. Pat was a graduate of Monessen High School with the Class of 1961. She then received her bachelor’s degree in teaching and her master’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania. Pat worked as a social worker for Mon Valley Hospital and later for Centerville Clinic. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to casinos. Pat will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family, her children, Jeffrey Henry of Charleroi, Christopher Henry of Monessen, and Rachel Firestone and husband Brad of Indian Head; her grandchildren, Alyssa Nicole Henry, Kendra Alexis Henry, Levi Colton Henry and Zachary Ekves. Pat was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her brother, Andrew Rendos; and her sisters, Anna Mae Mondi and Dorothy Yartin. It was the wish of Pat that there be no viewing or services. Arrangements are under the direction of the MARK C. BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 146 Municipal Building Road, Melcroft, Pa., 724-455-231.
