David Ronald Sala, 60, of Donora, passed away on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born March 4, 1962, in Donora, son of the late Dante Sala and the late Philomena Minnie Minniti Sala. David was a lifelong resident of Donora and the owner/operator of Sala Concrete. He was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and the Cement Masons Local 526. David loved his dogs Samantha and Petey. He enjoyed being with people and had many close friends. He was an avid Steelers fan and got much pleasure being on his boat at the marina. David was loved very much by his family and friends and will be missed but will always remain in their thoughts and hearts. Surviving to cherish his memory are his sister, Christine (John) Porco; a brother, Danny (Gerry) Sala; seven nieces and nephews, Lauren, Kema, Nicholas, Stephanie, Anna, Craig and Daniel; great-nieces and great-nephews, Hailey, Addison, Isabella, Nicholas and Dante; an uncle, Rich (Renee) Minniti; also many cousins and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home at noon. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Oncology Department of West Penn Hospital, 4800 Friendship Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224, 412-578-5000.
