Frank W. Eckels II, 54, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, in Finleyville. He was born July 27, 1968, in New Eagle, the son of the late Frank William “Bill” and Marie Rosensteel Eckels. Frank was a 1986 graduate of Ringgold High School. He was currently employed at Gardner Denver Nash in Bentleyville. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion James C. Ford Post #949 in Dunkirk and the Slovak Club in Monongahela. Frank loved hunting and riding his Harley-Davidson. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Mauser-Eckels, with whom he celebrated 24 years of marriage on Sept. 26, 2022; daughter, Amy Hilpert of Monongahela; biological father, Bill Eckels and wife Joyce of Monongahela; five sisters, Linda Ostrander of Monongahela, Darla Renk of Monongahela, Tina Porter and husband Brian of Charleroi, Debbie Eckels-Boles and wife Shana of Avella and Billie Sue Eckels of Sanford, Maine; two brothers, David Eckels of Finleyville and John Eckels of Monongahela; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 427 West Main St., Monongahela. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, in Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Furlong officiating.
