Debra Lynn Galanoudis – West newton

Debra Lynn Galanoudis, 70, of West Newton, passed away on Oct. 29, 2022, in Jefferson Hospital. She was born in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Alexander and Veronica Shillings Skakandy. Debra worked as a registered nurse for Uniontown Hospital. Surviving are her son, Ted and wife Christina Tarka; son, Michael Galanoudis; and sisters, Alexis Valley and Veronica Kenney. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Galanoudis; and a sister, Karen Savona. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 2, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church. Internment will follow at Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
