David Gary Kronemer – Charleroi

David Gary Kronemer, 72, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on Oct. 27, 2022, at Washington Hospital. Born in Monongahela on Jan. 18, 1950, Gary was the son of the late Joseph and Emma (Fedora) Kronemer. A graduate of Charleroi High School, Gary was a member of the Painters Club and the Eagles. Gary was self-employed for many years at G&K Hauling, along with cleaning houses, painting and his favorite, shoveling snow on the side. He enjoyed watching movies, spending time with his family and, of course, his favorite thing in the world, playing the lottery. Gary was a kind man who would help anyone in a time of need. Surviving to cherish Gary’s memory are his brothers, Nathan Kronemer, Jacob Kronemer and Johnny Romantino; his sister, Pam Quattro; his best friend, Theresa Giovengo; his close friends, Corey, Trisha and William Ames, Jerry Quattro, Nancy Ellis, David Krency, Karen Gnagey, Michelle Vidnjvich and Keith Zitz; along with his nieces and nephews, Ashley Kronemer, Jodie Wollet, David Wollet, Dakota Romantino and Jonathan Romantino. In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his stepmother, Marge Kronemer; and his sister, Debbie McDonough. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022, with funeral services immediately following at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the family to help offset final expenses.
