John ‘Jack’ Patrick Foster — Versailles

John “Jack” Patrick Foster, age 75, of Versailles, died on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022. He was born in Pittsburgh on April 4, 1947, and is the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Wissman Foster. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After the war, he was employed as a delivery end operator at Steel Dynamics Metal Tech. He was a member of Polish National Alliance Lodge #352, a member of its golf league, as well as a member of the Port Vue golf league. He is survived by sons, Brian (Kris Tina Stitt) Foster of White Oak and Christopher (Kuúlei) Foster of McKeesport; Brianna Mignogna; Marc Kalana Foster; Meleána K. Foster; brother, Robert (Vicki) Foster of North Huntingdon; many nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Jacqueline E. James Foster Thompson of Versailles. Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, when services will be held in the funeral home chapel with Deacon Dale DiSanto officiating.
