Monongahela receives grant through WalkWorks program

Monongahela is one of eight communities across the state to receive grant funding to help develop transportation opportunities and policies to increase physical activity. The grants, through the WalkWorks program run by the Department of Health and the Pennsylvania Downtown Center, total $168,000 this year.
