Warriors shut out Charleroi for 15th win

In a non-section tuneup for a pair of local playoff-bound squads, Class 3A Elizabeth Forward secured its first 15-win season in more than 20 years by defeating Class 1A Charleroi, 4-0, at Myron Pottios Stadium Wednesday night. The Warriors (15-2-1) relied on goals from Abby Beinlich (2), Giovanna Ferraro and Mia Valerio to eclipse the 15-win mark for the first time since 1997 when the team won 18 games.
