Anniversary plans discussed at Founders Day dinner

The Greater Monessen Historical Society kicked off its celebration of the city’s 125th anniversary in grand style at its annual Founder’s Day dinner Saturday night at Jozwiak Hall. Next year will mark the 125th anniversary of the city’s founding, and GMHS plans to mark the event with a series of special events throughout the coming 12 months.
