Olympus Energy’s site still up for debate in Rostraver Township

Would parts of Olympus Energy’s proposed fracking site in Rostraver Township overlap with a zoning district that prohibits natural gas drilling?

The question was central to one resident objector’s testimony in a zoning board hearing concerning a special exception request that’s been on the table in the township since March 9.

The zoning board rendered no decision Wednesday, in the eighth hearing regarding the Hera Well Pad. Next month’s hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 9.
