Stella P. Visco Kennedy, 98, of Monongahela, passed away in her home on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022. A daughter of Louis Sr. and Madeline Pascarella Visco, she was born in Courtney on April 7, 1924. Stella was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela and worked for many years as a seamstress at the former Halpern Sewing Co. in New Eagle. The last immediate surviving member of her family, she is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. Kennedy, who passed away on Nov. 25, 2015; three brothers, Anthony, Louis Jr. and James Visco; and three sisters, Mary Marynchak, Pauline Hoskin and Natalie Muha. At Stella’s request, all services were private, and interment was held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.
