Rosalie Kordistos Miller, 63, of Washington, Pa., died Oct. 7, 2022, at her home. She was born June 25, 1959, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Gus and Penny Kordistos. A graduate of Monessen High School, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She spent her career at the Meadows racetrack as assistant director for 22 years. She then worked at Ross Mould as a truck dispatch, and later at Oglebay Park. Rosalie was very proud of her Greek heritage. She loved her cats, flowers and gardening, decorating for all the holidays and puzzles. Rosalie really loved Disney World, so much so that she visited for 34 years in a row. On Aug. 20, 1988, Rosalie married Gary E. Miller, who survives. Also surviving is her only daughter, her pride and joy, Jennifer (Richard) Hunton of Chapin, S.C.; a brother, Peter Kordistos of Monessen; a sister, Angela (Sam) Labash of Belle Vernon; father-in-law, J.C. Miller (the late Romaine) of Washington, Pa.; several nieces and nephews; and many sisters and brothers in-law. She is also missed by several aunts, cousins and an uncle. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, with 11 a.m. the time of service at WILLIAM G. NEAL FUNERAL HOMES, LTD., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, Pa., with Pastor Joe DiDonato officiating. Interment to follow in the Washington Cemetery.
