Jo Patricia Anderson – Charleroi

Jo Patricia Anderson of Charleroi passed away Sept. 2, 2022, at Jefferson Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Elco on June 22, 1953, to the late Joseph James and Irene Viola Roberts. Jo loved her family and friends and enjoyed baking and cooking for them. Christmas was always celebrated at aunt Jo’s. She also loved jigsaw and crossword puzzles, Sudoku and needlepoint. She especially loved to read. She worked at Santoni’s Restaurant as a cook until it closed and went on to work at Rego’s Restaurant until she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph James and Irene Viola Roberts; and sister, Lynn Brook Roberts. To cherish her wonderful memories, she leaves behind her son, Richard William Anderson (Liz Nejus); granddaughters, Rebeca Anderson (fiancé, Justin) and Georgia Blankenship (Anthony) Shelby; grandsons, David and Brian; great-grandson, Owen; great- granddaughter, Sidney; sister, Marjorie Adale Obade; brother, Leslie Joseph Roberts (Carol); her loving niece, Rachel Obade; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved so very much. A celebration of life will be held from noon until 5 p.m. on Oct. 15, 2022, at the Charleroi American Legion, located at 234 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.
