Morgan ties for fifth at WPIAL, advances to PIAA

Two Mon Valley golfers finished up play in the WPIAL Class 3A Girls Individual Championship at Valley Brook Country Club on Tuesday. Elizabeth Forward’s Mya Morgan and Thomas Jefferson’s Maggie Allan, a pair of freshmen, qualified for the final round of district play after finishing in the top-36 in the first round of the Championship at Youghiogheny Country Club on Sept. 27.
