Cheryl ‘Rennie’ Barcus Donaldson – Belle Vernon

Cheryl “Rennie” Barcus Donaldson, 61, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Ohio on Nov. 26, 1960, to the former Barbara Hyatt Barcus and Henry Barcus Sr. of Belle Vernon. Rennie truly loved the holidays; she loved decorating and baking cookies for everyone and spending time with family. Rennie was always there to lend a hand whenever she was needed. She will sadly be missed by many. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Cain Demko and her husband Lee; a son, Jake Stevenson (Bridget Zilka); a grandson, Quentin Demko; sisters, Marian (Lou) Lambert of California, Sabrina (Beanie) Bryan of Oregon, Susan Broyles of Belle Vernon, Robin (Larry) Berish of Perryopolis and Jancy (Tony) Muccino of Belle Vernon; and brothers, Donald of Ohio, Robert (Heather) of Perryopolis, Brian (Jay) of Belle Vernon, Brandon of Belle Vernon and Bradley (Kathleen) of Belle Vernon. She is also survived by her best friend, Rich (Sinch) Racey of Belle Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved spending time with. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry (Ric) Barcus Jr. and Barry Barcus. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A funeral service will begin at 8:30 p.m. with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
