By obits

Susan L. Moncini, 68, of Washington Township, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, at her happy place, her camp in Champion, Pa. She was born on July 12, 1954, in Tampa, Fla., daughter of the late Zane and Joan Horan Deneen. Sue was a retired accounting clerk and worked for numerous construction companies throughout the Mon Valley area. She enjoyed playing cards, doing crafts, spending time at camp and most of all being with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Russian Club in Pricedale and the Naomi Club. Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Arthur J. Moncini; her daughter, Laura (Joe) Moncini-Rotolo of Rostraver Township; her son, Ryan (Shannon) Moncini of Rostraver Township; seven grandchildren, Morgan Moncini-Rotolo, Anthony Coccari, Brady Rotolo, Riley Rotolo and Dominic, Ariana and Emma Moncini; a brother, Zane (Charlene) Deneen of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Denise (Roger) Muzina of Gillespie; her mother-in-law, Rene Moncini of Monessen; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her dear pets, Marley and Snowball. Susan worshiped her time with all her “babies,” her grandchildren and great-niece and great-nephew, Kenzie Sellew and Colton Muzina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Edward Deneen. Per Sue’s wishes, the family gathered privately in DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
