Frank L. Thomas – Fayette City

Frank L. Thomas, 65, of Fayette City, passed away Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, at Penn Highlands Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born Oct. 28, 1956, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late Leroy and Iris K. Coates Thomas. A lifelong resident of Fayette City, Mr. Thomas was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church. Frank was a retired kiln operator from Corning Glass in Charleroi and was a member of the Corning retirees. He enjoyed golfing and bowling, was a Pittsburgh Penguins fan and a die-hard Belle Vernon Area fan. He is survived by his wife, Pam Deavers Thomas, to whom he was married for 44 years; son, Glenn Thomas of Irwin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Maria and Paul Swarow of Brownsville, and Robin and Branden Foti of Pittsburgh; and two granddaughters, Lyra Foti and Mina Swarow. He was preceded in death by his brother, Duane D. Thomas. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC with Elder Jeff Smith of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church officiating.
