A series of grants approved by the Commonwealth Finance Authority will benefit projects in Mon Valley communities in Allegheny County.
Gov. Tom Wolf’s office said 130 projects across the state were approved by CFA funding for environmental and infrastructure projects related to flood mitigation; greenways, trails and recreation; sewage facilities, orphan or abandoned well plugging and watershed restoration and protection.
“These projects will improve communities and enhance the quality of life for Pennsylvanians,” the governor said. “They are the kind of improvements and upgrades that continue to make our commonwealth a truly great place to live, work and play.”
