Alice ‘Janelle’ Williams – North Belle Vernon

Alice “Janelle” Williams, 73, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon. Born Nov. 10, 1948, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Verda Jane Myers Williams. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Ms. Williams was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon. Janelle was retired from Mon Valley Hospital, where she worked as a buyer. She is survived by her two beloved sisters and brothers-in-law, Gaye and Bill Jarzabek of Pittsburgh, and Robin and Van Speers of Hopewell; her precious nieces and nephews, David (Kathy) Cathers, Anne (Wes) Hill, Amie (John) Watroba, Adam Speers, Lillian Watroba and Courtney Cathers; and great-niece, Skylar Shoemaker. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Dorene Cathers; and nephew, Scott Cathers. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Relatives and friends will gather directly at First Baptist Church in Belle Vernon at 11 a.m. Monday for funeral services with Pastor Earl J. Rosenbalm of First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Condolences accepted at the funeral home’s website, www.parzynskifuneralhome.com.
