Bonnie Gephart Swisher, 77, of Forward Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, at home. Born in McKeesport and raised in Elizabeth Township, she was the daughter of the late James and Kathryn Coleman Gephart and was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Raymond Swisher. Bonnie enjoyed going to different casinos, visiting the beach and taking bus trips. Her strength, resilience and deep and quiet love will always be remembered by her family. She is survived by a son, Brad (Lisa) Swisher of Derry; daughter, Kelly (William) Clausi of Rostraver Township; grandchildren, Lauren (Vince) DiSante, Seth and Laynie Swisher; sister, Holly (Nick) Luptak of Elizabeth Township; brother, James (Jane) Gephart of Elizabeth; companion, William Rodabaugh of Forward Township.; also numerous nieces and nephews. Her family would like to extend a sincere and warm thank you to the hospice nursing team. Friends will be received at PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 N. Second Ave., Elizabeth, PA 15037, 412-384-4344, from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Timothy Green officiating. Private burial in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, SW Region, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. The family has requested NO FLOWERS PLEASE.
