Patricia J. Gogol Barron – Belle Vernon

Patricia J. Gogol Barron, 86, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at Haragos PCH, Uniontown. Born Nov. 8, 1935, in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Helen Hornack Gogol. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 65 years, Mrs. Barron was a member of Seven Dolors Roman Catholic Church, Yukon. Mrs. Barron was a retired record librarian from the medical records department from the former Charleroi-Monessen Hospital, enjoyed knitting and crocheting, traveling worldwide with her husband and was an avid reader. She is survived by her husband, John M. Barron, to whom she was married for 65 ½ years; brother, Edward Tablak of San Jose, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Gogol. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church officiating. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, in Cemetery of The Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Condolences accepted at the funeral home’s website, www.parzynskifuneralhome.com.
