Charles R. Povich – Monessen

Charles R. Povich, 85, of Monessen, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Monessen on Aug. 26, 1937, son of the late George and Anna Sutovich Povich. Surviving are his daughters, Vicki and husband George Ross and Amy Ashiq; son, Charles and wife Judy Povich; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Dolores Ostetrico; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Claire Kenny Povich; and numerous brothers and sisters. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, with 7:30 p.m. the time of services.
