Betty S. Story Williams – Belle Vernon

Betty S. Story Williams, 93, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, at Penn Highlands Health Care, Mon Valley. Born April 26, 1929, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Garfield and Pearl Leasure Story. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Williams was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monessen and was a retired telemarketer from Reese Brothers in Charleroi. Betty enjoyed reading, playing cards with various cards clubs and most of all spending time with her great-grandsons. She is survived by granddaughter, Dana Monticelli and husband Dan of Coal Center; and her three grandsons, Caden Monticelli, Weston Monticelli and Brooks Monticelli. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale F. Williams; daughter, Sharon Kinney; two sons, infant Robert A. Williams and Dale P. Williams; grandson, Dale Christopher Williams; brother, John D. Story; and four sisters, Louise Pearce, Dorothy Steffey, Thelma McNeil and June Leone. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, followed by prayers of transfer at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home and a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Condolences accepted at the funeral home’s website, www.parzynskifuneralhome.com.
