Sonja A. Trilli – Donora

Sonja A. Trilli, 85, of Donora, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, in Havencrest Nursing Center. She was born on June 13, 1937, in Charleroi, daughter of the late Rudolph C. Schoener and Susanne Dury Schoener. Sonja grew up in Charleroi and graduated from Charleroi High School. She worked as a secretary for several real estate agencies in the Mon Valley. Sonja was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Charleroi site. Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Paul C. Trilli Sr.; son, Mark (Patricia) Trilli of Donora; daughter, Collette (Steve) Hazy of Summerville, S.C.; brother, Rodney (Karen) Schoener of Smithfield, Pa.; six grandsons, Ryan Turner of Summerville, S.C., Mark (Angela) Trilli of Monessen, Justin Trilli, Aaron Trilli, Keith Trilli and Chris (Amber) Trilli, all of Donora; and by a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Centanni; son, Paul C. Trilli Jr.; daughter, Marsha Trilli, and a granddaughter, Terri Jo Trilli. Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Deacon Al Poroda officiating. Interment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
