Monessen OKs hiring deputy treasurer

The City of Monessen is a step closer to filling its deputy treasurer position, which has been open for months. Mayor Ron Mozer asked council to consider hiring Alicia Wiant at a rate of $14 an hour, pending the receipt of an appropriate resume, interview and background check.
