Amy Lynn Wallace, 47, of Liberty Borough, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away at home with her family by her side on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022. She was born Oct. 14, 1974, in McKeesport and was the daughter of Robert C. (Penny Romano) Wallace of Elizabeth Township and Bernice Stanchik (Tim) McDonald of Elizabeth Township. Amy was a child psychologist and worked for the Elizabeth Forward School District. She was a 1992 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and 1999 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. She was a member of White Oak American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a member of numerous professional organizations. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Steven Linhart; brother, Robert P. (Trish) Wallace; and sister, Beth Wallace of Elizabeth Township; aunt, Geri Mitchell of Murrysville; nephews, Adam Wallace and Eli Beckinger; and many cousins. Friends are welcome from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, at GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., Boston, Elizabeth Township, 412-751-5000, Drew J. Gilbert, director. Services will be held following visitation at 7 p.m. with The Rev. Karl Petterson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Elizabeth Forward Alumni Association Scholarship Fund c/o Sadie Masters, 801 North Whitmore Road, Irwin, PA 15642.
