Blaine H. Brown, 66, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022. Born in Charleroi on July 31, 1956, he was the son of the late Harold C. and Lucille E. Smith Brown. Blaine was a carpenter by trade. He also did masonry work and was a Science Matters coordinator. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Denise L. Jones Brown; stepson, Marcus (Ashley) Wilson of Rostraver; granddaughter, Adelyn Wilson; brother, Harold D. (Marie) Brown of Rostraver; sister, LuAnn (Gary) Tretter of Rostraver; nieces, Jessica Brown and Shannon (Brent) McConnell; and nephew, Chris “Rocky” (Barb) Tretter. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where military honors followed by a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Ken Sommerfeldt officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.St.Jude.org.
