E. Jeannine Jacobs – Dunlevy

E. Jeannine Jacobs, 93, of Dunlevy, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022. A daughter of the late Thomas Herbert and Myrtle Remington Harrison, she was born in Charleroi, on Oct. 28, 1928. Formerly of Monessen, Jeannine had been a resident of Dunlevy all of her adult life. She had been employed as a department manager at Montgomery Ward for many years before becoming Dunlevy borough’s secretary. Jeannine had been a long-time member of the Dunlevy United Methodist Church, loved cooking and baking and spending time with her family. She is survived by a daughter and son in-law, Sherry and Tim Mouyard of Charleroi; a son, Randy Jacobs of Dunlevy; a sister, Ellen Utterback of Delmont; a daughter-in-law, Peggy MacPherson Jacobs of Speers; five grandchildren, Timothy (Amy) Mouyard of Charleroi, Rachel Mouyard of Charleroi, Matthew Mouyard of Dunlevy, John (Rachel) Jacobs of Charleroi, and Bryan (Michele) Jacobs of Dunlevy; and four great-grandchildren, Collin Mouyard, Alex Mouyard, Jack Jacobs, and Zack Shulock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Jacobs Sr. on Jan. 30, 2000; a son, John H. “Jack” Jacobs Jr., on Dec. 8, 2021; a sister, Arlene Sullenberger; and a brother, Melvin Harrison. Friends will be received in the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of a funeral service with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating.
