Alberina Perunko – Donora

Alberina Perunko, 90, Donora, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born July 7, 1932, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Egidio Capozza and the late Frances Fella Capozza. Alberina was a Catholic by faith and a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jayne F. Tordi; three sisters, Theresa, Rosie and Edith; and three brothers, Joseph, Cosmo and Edward. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, John “Bud” Perunko; two daughters, Soo (Gary) Greco of Charleroi and Tracy (Wade) Francis of Donora; two sons, Jack Perunko of Rostraver Township and Mark (Mary) Perunko of Charleroi; six grandchildren, Ryan Painter, David (Sherry) Martinelli, Adam Martinelli, Jonathan (Sarah) Klein, Jessica (Pete) Bahl and Anne Perunko; five great-grandchildren; a special niece, Joan (Bob) Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022. A blessing service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. A very special heartfelt thank you to caregivers Amber Tirpak, Natalie Cochran and Natalie Cianciullo.
