Andrea F. Moody, 79, of Monongahela, passed away at her home on Wednesday July 27, 2022. Born June 12, 1943, in New Eagle, Andrea was the daughter of the late Thaddeus M. and Florence M. (Lucas) Bobula-Gilchrist. She was employed at the former Kay’s Cleaners in Donora, where she worked until her retirement. A 1961 graduate of Charleroi High School, Andrea was a member of the former First United Methodist Church in Donora, where she taught Sunday School and belonged to the Junior Ruth Circle and the United Methodist Woman’s Club. An avid gardener, she enjoyed watching movies and listening and playing music, especially the keyboard and piano. She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Moody Sr., whom she married on March 4, 1966; two daughters, Rebecca Moody and fiancé Keith Haynes of Monongahela, and Leigh Ann (Mike) Santillo of Greensburg; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald E. Moody Jr. (Marcie Yunkun) of Monongahela; two granddogs, Poochie and Alex; a brother, Ted Bobula of Monongahela; two sisters, Jeanne Hull of Elizabeth and Susan (Thomas) Sawicky of Monongahela; brother, James E. Gilchrist of Donora; a stepsister, Nancy Snyder of Sutersville; an aunt, Kathryne Agrippe; an uncle, Donald Bobula of Ohio: along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and brothers and sisters-in-law. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepfather, James Gilchrist; a brother, David Bobula; and a stepsister, Arlene Sprowls of Georgia. Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2022. A service will begin at 6:45 p.m. with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating.
