When Chris LeGrand saw a Beatles tribute show at a performing arts theater in the late 90s, he decided to do some research to see if he could find cover bands for another beloved British Invader, the Rolling Stones.
In the early days of the internet, he went online and discovered the Rolling Stones had a few cover bands but not a touring one, so he formed his own in 2000. His cover band, called Satisfaction, will play its third show at the Monongahela Aquatorium this Saturday, part of the venue’s Rockin’ on the Mon summer concert series. Gates open at 6 p.m., and Satisfaction will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Admission costs $10. Satisfaction has played almost 4,000 shows at venues around the world, according to LeGrand, a Texas native who resides in the Dallas and Ft. Worth area.
