Theresa A. Toth – Virginia Beach, formerly of Belle Vernon

Theresa A. Toth, 96, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at her current residence in Virginia Beach, surrounded by her family. A daughter of the late Rosario and Seleta Sellaro, she was born on Main Street in downtown Belle Vernon on Jan. 5, 1926. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir for 35 years. Theresa was also a lifelong member of the Annita Garibaldi Society, where she was Mother of the Year in 2018. She worked for the Ladies Guild and Catholic Daughters of America BV Court 1522. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Clifford H. Toth (Toth Brothers Market BV); her brothers, Jim, John, Joe, Frank and Lou; and her sisters, Edith and Mary. Survivors include three daughters, Andrea and Michael May of St. Mary’s (GA), Yvonne Toth of Valrico (FL) and Theresann (T.A.) and Michael Miller of Virginia Beach (VA); grandchildren, Amy and Jim Beebe (NJ), John and Beverly Williams (ND), Jennifer and Scott Kohler (FL), Joseph and Sarah May (VA), Joshua and Jessika May (MD), Verona Miller (VB) and Cecilia Miller (VB), along with 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Theresa’s greatest joys came from being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com. A blessing will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Crookston as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Members of the St. Sebastian Choir and the Annita Garibaldi Society will meet at 7 p.m. in the funeral home to hold brief services.
